The Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa is closely connected to the Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHKs) in Germany. Together, they support German companies with promoting and extending their business relations to foreign countries. The umbrella organisation of the IHKs is the German Association of Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), which also coordinates and supports the AHKs and Delegations. Furthermore, the cooperation with various German trade associations strengthens the link between AHKs and business markets.

From the regional headquarters in Nairobi and a branch office in Dar es Salaam, AHK Services Eastern Africa Limited, offers market entry facilitation, business partner search, market analysis information and surveys, fact finding missions, business delegations, project partnerships and other tailor made services that can be conferences, workshops, company presentations and other events.

AHK Services Eastern Africa Limited, also cooperates with several partners from the development sector in various fields such as energy, water, vocational training, market access or innovative business approaches.
