Dr. Harald Wenig, a seasoned expert in legal affairs and governance, boasts a distinguished career spanning government, international institutions, and development projects. With a doctoral degree and legal studies from Munich and Strasbourg, he transitioned from law to pivotal roles at the European Commission, focusing on competition and trade matters. His tenure included directing Fair Trade Instruments and Market Access, fostering global partnerships and navigating complex trade negotiations. Post-retirement, he continued his impactful work with the European Commission and the World Bank, facilitating development projects across continents. Now, as a trainer, Dr. Wenig draws upon his extensive experience to guide industrial operators through new industrial policy regulations in Germany and Europe, embodying a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
